Black Diamond Dust is a 35mm film photography series capturing life’s fleeting, absurd, and sublime moments.
Inspired by a raw, almost paparazzi-style approach, this project documents lifestyle scenes from around the world, balancing humor, intimacy, and unexpected beauty.
I started this series as a student, filming the excitement and energy of those times. Influenced by photographers like Wolfgang Tillmans, Nan Goldin, and Martin Parr, I sought to capture life’s strange and beautiful moments with honesty and curiosity.
Through this lens, I seek out the ridiculous and the familiar — fleeting scenes where the patterns of daily life, the fall of light, or the stillness of a random object reveal something oddly meaningful.
The subjects range from people and their gestures to cars, artworks, and everyday objects — each frame freezing the chaos and charm of the ordinary.
Black Diamond Dust is a visual diary of life’s strange poetry, where the familiar becomes extraordinary and the meaningless takes on unexpected depth.
